Imagine if students could shape their own units and modules from both university and VET, study when and where they want, and integrate their institutional learning with experiences in the workplace.”

I don’t think students are best placed to decide what they need to study. A hodge-podge of varying study will be of no use to the student nor their employer. Employers and institutions should continue to engage in developing relevant courses and relevant material. Institutions should be ranked on the number of employed graduates and from these rankings determine how relevant their material is in today’s changing market place.
